N FLA | Personally, I believe in application year round to cover crops and cash crops, and using poultry litter when possible. In that program I just don't feel like there is much responses to any one application. This low residue situation, guys use 2-3 apps on corn and often 2 apps on peanuts. They say they are seeing yield increase to the splits. So I don't know whats right. But I do know cover crops are potash hogs and seem to be cycling K. | |
