They had issues with the firmware prior to 4.5, not sure how far back, I was told it was a programming error, it is supposed to be fixed now. I was also told that updating the firmware in the lightbar can help with accuracy, but maybe was referring to tilt. Anyone with a com port and a null modem cable can upgrade the receiver. But the lightbar requires a special cable.
