North central North Dakota | I bought a 1790 planter a couple years ago (a corn head before that). They sold me the parts needed so I could fix it up myself; disk blades, scrapers, gauge wheel arms. They buy the parts real cheap because of the volume of items they go through when fixing up the units. I was not so impressed in the grade of quality of some of the parts - but they were parts that would work. I am buying another brand of gauge wheel arms and replacing a bunch since many are not working correctly after one season. As others have noted, if it is field ready.... it probably will take some more parts and TCL to really get it up to your standards, so expect to do some more to it. It is a used unit so it will not be perfect. I have not really done anything to my corn head since I bought it and have been very pleased.
