Subject: Re: Question for Ed Winkle or others about Capreno

Martinsville, Ohio
That's a lot more herbicide than I used.

I had problem fields notorious for fall panicum and glyphosate resistant weeds.

I had used the label rate of 5.6 oz of Corvus before and felt it hurt my corn. The field look like a desert with rows a corn in it until the fall panicum blew through late in the season. I did not rescue it. I think I used 2 lbs of atrazine with the Corvus.

I learned here that atrazine works well with Capreno but I only used what I thought was one pound and did not get that much actual ingredient on.

I had nearly a rescue program of 3 oz of Status with 2 oz Capreno because that is all I had. I should have used more. I got everything but some panicum and some bindweed. I blame that on myself and letting it get out of hand in the past.

I would recommend Capreno to anyone to control the weeds on the label.

Ed
