North Central Montana/ SW Sask | I am in Middle Tennessee. I grew them for four years straight from 2008-2011. It is hard to say without seeing your situation. I know mine have looked dead with hardly any growth on top, and then they just took off. I think my best yielding year they actually looked the worst coming out of winter. In the next 2-3 weeks you should see some serious growth if you have any warm weather at all.
