Sure wish this rain had waited until July!! Had 2.5"+ slow nice rain that has at least started getting the Mississippi River passable for barges. Almost NONE of the rain soaked in as the ground was frozen and covered with 6" of wet snow. Terraces  almost running over and rivers are are out of their banks. Erosion not to terrible as ground was frozen and the snow cover slowed down the flow for quite awhile till most of it now melted.
