Frytown, Iowa

that is the outcome from an inflationary economy... there are no steady prices so there is no honest set price to an object. there is no incentive to save so there is a huge incentive to spend... huge risk to win big but if you dont try you get left behind in poverty because you didnt take the risk...

small steady deflation would fix this in a hurry... people would know that if they sold ground that their money would last through retirement... now they dont know.

this is also why the best workers are owners and not laborers because there is a huge advantage to be your own business owner... therefore the average guy who wants to work for someone has to choose between making enough money to support his family and get a head vs. owning his own stressfull business and make lots of money...

in a slow steady deflationary economy the hourly workers get treated fairly and can live a better lifestyle (like a one household income being enough) than in an inflationary economy...

inflation destroys family values... replacing them with greed.
blame it on the government promising false hopes to the general public... it goes deeper into that but im not teaching a christian theological class now am i?

my opinion only.
