Subject: Soybean kitchen sink study

NESD
Went to a meeting today about raising 100 bushel soybeans that was put on by a company that I have really come to respect in the research they do.

The problem I am having is that the things they taked about ie. foliar feeding micronutrients, inoculatant, growth regulators, high rates p and k, seed treatment, etc. (I actually do or have tried most of the things mentioned with little diffinitive proof of success) really seems to contradict the results of the kitchen sink study that was led in part by Wade Kent of the University of Mineesota and funded by soybean checkoff dollars. To be fair this company is hardly the only one pushing these types of products.

What does the NAT group think of this study and the push to increase bean yields.
