Thunder Bay, Ontario, Great White North | Hey bigdog, you'd better hope your wish doesn't come true. Seems to me the best thing, from your perspective, for the USDA to do is ignore the BSE issue. If they actually stop ignoring it and begin testing as many animals as we (Canadians) do, good luck with the markets after those results go public. At least us Canucks know how to dump the positive carcasses.
EDIT: I assume from the tone of your post you are ticked off because USDA "ignores" the Canadian positive tests. If that is not the case, and you are, in fact, worried about BSE in your steak, rest assured that this positive was dumped, and you probably have a much higher chance of any random act (lightning, sharks, hit by bus, ect) killing you than BSE ever will.
