Southern MN | It's kind of like asking a mechanic at the Nissan dealership to work on your John Deere tractor. Both have engines, wheels, transmissions, etc..., but they are two different beasts. The Nissan mechanic will need to spend a lot of time reading the service manual for your tractor before he even pulls out a tool, and he may not have the right tools either.
It cost me a one time registration fee of $25 with Google to put my app out there for the rest of you to use. I could tolerate that fee given that I already had the app developed.
Apple charges a one time registration fee of $100 plus I need to spend a few days building the app and then ongoing time supporting it. My time is worth money and I feel I would never recoup my investment going down this path. I do have an iPad and like it, but it wasn't my choice of platforms for this app. | |
