north central iowa | I am trying to decide what level of crop insurance to carry. Last year was 80% revenue protection on enterprise unit. I did not have a claim, fortunately. I would have had a claim with optional units because a couple of farms have lighter soils and got hurt by drought. There is about a $20 per acre higher premium for corn on optional units at the 80% level. Interested in what other folks are thinking for this year. We have low subsoil moisture levels going into spring. TIA
