We did a side by side trial last year on corn. Put it in furrow with our liquid starter. There was definitely a visual difference throughout the year as far as root size. Agronomist came out with weigh wagon at harvest, and there was no difference in yield. It might be worth trying on a few acres. Like newag1 said if it doesn't improve yield, why bother.
