Maybe the complexity of the device will have the mice so mesmerized that they will be trying to figure it out while they are being trapped. Hopefully your son gets to compete in a Rube Goldberg competition of some sort later in school. Complex solutions to a simple task is the name of the game. The project I worked on used "Mouse Trap" the game and a whole bunch of other stuff including electric motors and fishing hooks to peel a banana. It wasn't very dependable. Only worked right about 25% of the time. |
