NW Central Ohio | ...Brake Cleaner comes to mind as the first thing I'd try from the auto parts store. The best spot cleaner for grease that we have found has Carbon Tetrafluoride in it. Can't tell you the name of it...but only available at carpet stores. You need to get the grease dissolved without water first...and then lots and lots of clean rags or paper towels. If there's dirt left (rather than grease) then a scrubbing with some hot Dawn dishwashing soap and water will probably clean up the rest. | |
