southern MN | I believe Dodge got a little cheap, and teams strayed away.
This year are new sorta real looking manufacturers bodies on the cars as opposed to the past handful of years with a generic body.
So last year Dodge built up a racing body for 2013, and then got kinda slow in signing up with the only team making dodge engines any more - so that team signed with Ford instead.
That left Dodge with a new car body, but no one making engines for them, kinda shoestring budget, no bigger front running teams left to sign up, and only a couple months to put anything together. They waited themselves into the minor leagues....
So they took their new body and went home. See if they feel like coming back in a year or 2.
Yea, it was the money thing basically.
