We used to play hide-n-seek tag around a big grain bin setup, climbing the leg, and....hold your breath, it was stupid but....jumping from bin to bin! Holy cow it was dumb but living in a bubble doesn't prepare you for the lessons learned from having a few bad ideas. There was a study I read the other day about how it's good for kids to experience some failure.....well DUH! I can't believe we live in a world where it took a study to figure that out LOL! I hate how even the last place kid gets a trophy these days, no incentive to be better at anything it seems. Let your kids climb trees, swim in the ditch and ride a bike without knee pads, it will make them better people!
