When we rented a farm in the 70s we bought the elevator that was on the double crib on the farm sale. It was run by an electric motor that ran a flat belt that ran an old transmission that ran the elevator with a shaft. The electric motor had originally ran the printing press of the Soldier Sentinel newspaper.
