west central Iowa | I was feeding the other day and usually can get by with leaving the gate open, but the tractor slid over next to the bunk in the mud and the axle rode up on the bunk and made me spin out and I didn't watch the gate close enough. About half got out before I stopped them, luckily the bridge stopped them from going too far down the road, but they turned and ran through the hot wire and in the with the bulls. I went after them with the 4 wheeler and amazingly all 6 bulls stayed and the calves came out trotted back to their yard. But now that they have had a taste of getting out I about need someone to watch the gate. | |
