| Plain oatmeal, oatmeal and raisin or nuts, ginger cookies, shortbreads are my favorite.
Try Lu's Bastogne biscuits for a change, they are great for tea and make a nice cheesecake crust too.
You can find them at Safeway. They're a poor man's version of the Belgian speculoos Santa Claus biscuit which uses more spices and sugar beet's brown sugar to give its particular texture and taste, but still pretty tasty.
