north-central Indiana west of Fulton | Maybe doesn't qualify as stock talk, but previously had some pictures from 1980 that had our last IH 815 combine included, and there was some discussion about them. Finally got photos of all the self propelled combines we have had . First was a '57 IH 141 bought used in late fifties ;got a new 303 in'65; dad and brother rebuilt a badly burned gas '69 or'70 815 so they could get into 4 row equipment more cheaply (it then burned in'73) ;replaced with a '73 diesel hi profile ; went to six row in'75 and had to get new low-profile 815 so new heads would attach; traded for new '81 1460 in late '82; ran until we got a new 2166 in '96; and finally have one season on 2012 5130. ( Roof and wheels of 1460 were painted to look like the last 14 series machines) pictures oldest to newest
