Kansas | I found this older article, from 2008, this is what the extension agent had to say:
"Typically, with decent stalks and normal weather, we can stock milo fields at about 2 acres per cow and expect about a 60-day stay. Muddy weather or a short milo crop can reduce it.
What are grazing milo stalks worth? In general terms, milo growers ask about $.30 per head per day. Factors moving this rate up or down would include (a) is the field is already fenced, (b) does it have water, (c) location and (d) size of field."
This was in the McPherson County Kansas area, hope it helps!
