Southwest Illinois | Depends on the gun. He problem is that its hard to say which guns will appreciate. Colt revolvers have skyrocketed the past 10 years while others have been more static. I would say generally you won't lose a whole bunch but the guys who make money in guns are buying bargains and reselling at a profit. I have been to several gun auctions the last year or so and there have been few bargains. Lots of people looking at guns lately. By comparison cars are probably a bit more predictable in terms of what to buy for an investment. The bottom line with any of these is if you can buy it and enjoy it then do so but if you have some cash to just simply invest I would suggest there are better investments than guns, cars, tractors, etc especially if you don't know much about them. | |
