SE Nebraska | The best way you can help him is to teach that life has consequences. He made some decisions (whether bad driving, not enough insurance etc) that have resulted in him not having a truck. Now, you need to have a talk with him about what a job really is, that there are expectations, and if he doesnt meet them the job will go away. And stick to it. You could be doing him the biggest favor of his life by firing him for non performance. Maybe a hard lesson will set him on the path of making better decsions.
And I understand the wanting to help someone who has gotten some kicks in early life. I tried it numerous times with my ex sister-in-law. brought me nothing but grief. | |
