Public TV in the US has had a couple of documentaries and shows about breaking the Enigma code. At least one of them was made by the BBC. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/archive/186/186.html
Breaking the Code gave the Allies a real major leg up on the Germans and the mentioned moral dilemma.
