Subject: Re: Any Talk of Water Rationing

Does anybody know how the water table has held up. I know the NRDs measure wells in the fall an spring. That will tell you alot about how it will go for this season. I know one thing for sure last season was by far the most anybody has ever irrigated in history. We have had a irrigation well on our place since 1957 an last year was the worst irrigation season we have had. Started irrigating June 15th an continued until Sept 1 virtually non stop. I doubt if a guy could keep that up for too long an not have serious problems. Last year we only had 8 inches off rain. Dryer then the 1930s. Hoping mother nature takes a turn for more rain. Looking at the drouth map most off Nebraska is in exceptional drouth the worst you can get. Its scary out there.
