Moving millions of pieces of mail and packages a day, hundreds and thousands of mails to millions of different places. Less than 50 cents to mail something thousands of miles.? For the price of one soda pop, you can mail 3 items from the Atlantic Coast to the Pacific Coast, usually in 2 to 3 days. That is a good deal. Nobody is perfect , and if you have only 1/100 of 1 % go wrong , that means thousands of mail items a day will suffer.We all know the problems of weather, machinery break-down, human error, and just plain bad luck. The tremendous volume of mail means problems will occur. Nothing wrong with them not being able to break a hundred dollar bill. Most convenience stores will refuse also.
