I want to know where are my friends....That's why I monitor market structure. Where were the buyers and sellers, and where will they likely show up next time - if their agenda was to remain the same. By placing your orders just under there's, they protect your order. Those stop runs, that has been a popular topic the last few days, are absolutely "out to get you". They are likely not bots. The people doing the manipulation are glad to let you believe its some black box someplace that ran your stop. More likely, it was a trader washing you to accumulate a larger position in the other direction. If you monitor events like these, you'll notice that they often happen the same times of day, but not everyday, and they all have similar characteristics. These are the "tracks" of that trader - their signature. He marked his territory, and it happens over and over and over.
