Central To Everything and Close to Nothing | The 2.0 beta is not the resource hog that the previous versions were. If I were you, install 2.0 beta and unload some data to it and find out for yourself. I would create a copy of your data to a place on your hard drive and use that data to unload into Apex. If you don't like it all you have to do is un-install Apex and you are out nothing but your time. If all you want to do is generate a map of something you did, then APEX will work for you just fine or you could just stick with JDOffice until you decide to upgrade equipment. If you need to do anything else, then a product like MapShots should be considered. |
