The 4dr. and hard top gets a premium but they are gouging if it isn't loaded with special packages.
Keep shopping around and do the "Build your own" on the jeep website. Get the bits you need as a base package, and add the stuff you want from the aftermarket.
Damn things are lego sets with wheels.
I'm on #7 right now. A 2002 TJ ordered new. Makes for a good "Mule" around the farm, and town runs when the snow is too deep for the stupid 2500HD.
Got the wife into a Patriot after she test drove one, and figured out the Jeep thing on her own...I hate the thing, she loves it for what she uses it for.
She rolled her first one on an Icy downhill, during one of our famous Ice storms...the airbag upgrades had her climbing out the sun roof and madder than hell, but not even a scratch on her. Once she calmed down, she decided she would always have a Jeep, and got another. LOL!!
When you are pricing on the jeep website, pay attention to the "Packages". You can spend more on a Sport and get less than the Sahara, and vice versa if you don't pay attention.;)
