I think it stores pretty well just clean and dry and not hot. Having said that, I picked up some 50cal ammo boxes and then vacuum sealed mine with a food sealer and packed it in the ammo cans. I used the ammo cans so I can put them where ever I want and it protects the ammo, plus they're watertight. Probably don't need to go that far but it's what I did.
