West Union, Illinois | WPFarm - the only reason to go interior is if it's a life/death situation. It isn't official, but that has pretty much been our SOP for a long time. Being a volunteer department without a staffed firehouse, by the time 911 is called, we get dispatched, we make it to the firehouse, suit up, and get to the scene ... to be honest all we are usually able to do is keep it from spreading.
