I wish I could answer your question Erwin but being you are in Saskatchewan I think the Dealer support or availability might be more of an issue. For us a 2 hour parts run is the norm so that could be a consideration for you as well. Do you grow flax? 2388 have more problems than the 9660 will in our area if conditions are poor.
