East Central Arkansas
It's just the new clothing. I am not having problems with clothes that I have had for a while and have been wearing. We use the free and clear type detergents, borax and baking soda to help with the cleaning. This is something that is in the new clothing either the dye or something else that is added to the fabric. This has been in 100% cotton clothing. The latest products have been, two LL Bean shirts, one made in Thailand and the other in India. Also the coat I mentioned, bought from Aramark uniform, which was made in China. I do wish I could find a piece of clothing made in the US to compare. As a cotton producer we do depend on these foreign countries, especially China, to buy our raw cotton as very little is spun or made into clothing in the US anymore. I just wonder though if some of the stuff that is added in dyes or whatever to these fabrics could be used if they were produced in the US.
