I take the CoQ10 and still take Simvastatin. Q10 is over-the -counter at drug store. Takes about 2 weeks for the muscle aches to go away. My Doc said muscle aches & spasms like charlie horses are common with statin drugs, and suggested CoQ10. It made mine go away. Ask your Doc.
