Subject: RE: feeding earlage

nw oh
We have fed it to holsteins, we would feed like 10lbs of earlage, 5 lbs silage, 6-10 lbs of dry shelled corn, with WDGS in a finish ration cattle did really well. The feed tests I took had it half way between corn and silage as far as fiber and energy. We have put it in uprights. We put it in a 24x70 with no roof and that worked good except when we got a bunch of rain and then it would just turn to a paste on top a real mess.
