Saronville NE | I keep reading these posts about the down market presently and how many guys on market talk think corn has a long ways to go up yet. I just background, dont feed out, so kinda hard to protect myself, besides a cheaper ration, but with corn prices the way they are presently our area has a large amount of Eplants closing so WDG may get hard to come by in the future if corn price stays high or goes higher, allready talk of more closings in our area if corn goes up some more. Had to give $1.42 area this week for fancy 550 weight heifers, what were feeding now if sell at 850, $1.29-1.30 would be the BE area, last week those size heifers were bringing $1.30-1.35. Do you think this market will keep gettin softer? Im still bullish longterm cattle, and bearish corn. But presently may not see what Im thinking. So where do we go from here? | |
