I agree with the negative feeling towards buyers' and sellers' premiums, but if a person is interested in a fun classic car to cruise around in, Barrett-Jackson on Tues and Wed have a lot of fun cruisers that can be bought real reasonably.  If someone wanted a Corvette (not my thing, but lots of folks like 'em) that they could take out on a sunny Sunday afternoon and have a good time in, a mid-80s 'vette can usually be bought under $20K early in the week.
