Well, we watched a movie called "The Way". It's about a man whose son is killed the first day of his walk on a pilgrimage in Spain. The man travels to get the body but ends up making the pilgrimage with his son's ashes. Because my son made the 300 mile pilgrimage from Leon to Santiago we wanted to see the film and because it was the inspiration for his trip. We enjoyed it, no murder, no gore and no car chases though. Maybe we were more invested because of his trip but we enjoyed the movie. The Way is about the pilgrimage that people have been making for over a thousand years to Santiago where allegedly the bones of St. James are kept. |
