If you have access to corn byproducts you'll get away from expensive liquid feeds with urea, they meet all your protein needs at an energy cost. The midwest has a huge advantage in feeding cattle due to ethanol plants. We run grower diets at 13.5% protein, can you run them lower, sure may effect performance.
