You can have demand destruction in anything. I would say if you are getting high dollar for hay you had better enjoy it because it will not last. There are other ways to skin a cat and a cattle man can cut his hay use in half pretty easy. There are other products to feed along with sowing cover crops on row crop ground and etc.
