Meatless Monday is mostly a school initiative, and the schools that do it are basically already running a Sugarless Week and a lot more other things like less deep fried food. It's already a whole reflection on health, no need for an alternative, but complementary initiatives, like Organic Tuesday, Pulse Wednesday, Gastronomic Thursday, or Fish Friday.
Meatless Monday is the invention of PETA, and the anti-Ag freaks on the left.
Tell the truth.
Health has very little to do with it.
