Subject: Beans

SEIA
I have often wondered how seed beans are accounted/not accounted for by USDA in acreage/supply/demand/yield reports. Since it takes approximately 1 bu. of soys per acre for seeding, that means that over 2.5% of the bean crop never enters the processing/export chain.
When supplies are tight as they are this year, 2.5% "disappearance" would make supplies even tighter.
Anyone know how this is accounted for by USDA or the marketplace?
