West Central Iowa | Thanks for your replys. I worked two screwdrivers inch-by-inch all around the perimeter to get it in but once it was in there seemed to be a little wiggle room. I could slightly move the glass up and down a tiny bit. The parts book showed a moulding and a filler (two separate part numbers) that would be needed to replace mine, but the parts guy said that both of those original part #'s substituted to this one. I don't really know what a "filler" is but suspect if they had one it may take care of my problem.
By the way....I did cuss while putting it in.
Also contacted the local auto repair guy and said that over the years he has put those windows in grinders and gravity wagons. He said he could help. | |
