Subject: RE: Wireless Router from shop to house?

Can be done without a lot of money. I have a system using 3
buffalo HP router/accesspoint. one is set up as a repeater
because I couldn't get line of sight. System only has one
unit with detached antenna, so antenna could be in a window.
They are not encrypted as it is not a problem. They where for
internet access only so the two computer systems do not talk.
I thing the routers cost about 60 dollars, but it took some
time to get them talking. I was thinking I would have to load
new software into the routers, but the buffalo HPG54 would
do what I needed.
attached is a poor outline, done in paint, so hard to correct
some of the errors. the 1100' is closer to 2000'. Also a
picture of the repeater. so far repeater has had -30c, so may
sit like that for years.
