Subject: RE: 5003 john deere tractors

not sure if your talking about the new 5000 series but we have had really good luck with our 5400 4wd loader. We've put much bigger loads that what the tractor is supposed to handle and it can actually pick up more than our 6310 4wd w/loader can. so far its almost got 7000hrs on it and still going strong. Now i can see why he don't care much for the 6000 series tractors, we like our 6310 for the most part, but there are lots of things we don't like about it. We heard the 5000 series and the 7000 series were the best ones to look at. 6000 series are built lighter as what i've heard. i would go with the 4wd and loader so you'll always have it. the loader comes in handy in lots of places, espescially around the house for the wife, and the 4wd is built better for the loader and there are always times you need 4wd. I would got with the 5020 series if there still making them
