Oh ya, and if you're on a hillside with a quad, you'll likely tear off a drive lug or two. Those tracks aint cheap. I'm sure you've seen pictures posted of the various track machines stuck too. They get just as stuck or stucker than a tired machine given they'll go further in before they go down. But, most of a tracked tractors limitations and shortcoming are do to its current designs. Give them some time and get a few farmers and loggers looking at those undercarriages, with those "what if I changed this..........." idea attitudes, and some amazing things have happened.



It's ironic you're jamming to def leppard. I was just listening to the drum beats they use as the drummer only has one arm. I'm sure in the studio they use a certain amount of samples and loops, but live I hear that guy is amazing. I was thinking if I could learn some of that one arm technique, I could set up a sperate percussion stand and play it with the other arm.:-)
