Canmore Ab. Canada | The wife and I decided this would be our last year farming. Rented out the land and will have an auction in the spring. We are 55.
I have had two basic comments from friends and neighbors. First is "You can't quit, your a farmer, farmers never quit." The second is, with eyes dropping to the ground, "I wish I had quit while I still had my health and we could have enjoyed life a bit." It was a near even split in the two opinions.
