west central iowa | I want to have a portable cattle crossing, that I can move into place with my payloader and forks. When cleaning manure out of pens or bedding cattle down, I'd like to set something in the gate hole. It needs to be heavy enough to drive tractor with duals and big spreader full of shi# over it. I'm thinking of a slight arch in it , round pipe, and gaped about 6- 8 inches apart. Is there anything out there like this, or do you smart guys got any different ideas. And NO, I dont' want to use electric swing gates. I don't have a fencer on the farm and I want to stay that way. Also, when I did use these things, They would snag on something and I ended up riping them off the post all the time. So what can you guys think of to help out gary and adam for building this? | |
