Subject: RE: ?seasonal depression?

EC Nebraska
I saw Sue Martin speak at a fertilizer show before Christmas and the interesting charts she put up were the seasonal performance of the grains. Since 2007 when we went into the new era of prices, the markets have sold off into Dec and Jan every year and have put in their highs later in the year than before. Highs occured in the late summer, rather than the spring. Maybe its just a coincidence or maybe our marketing patterns have changed from prior seasonals. I know, markets will probably be lower in 2013, but I know too many neighbors who bought into this same scenario last year and sold alot of corn with a 5 in front of it. Just trying to point out that everybody has become too bearish right now.
