There are several factors that play into our decision to sell a bull. One of the biggest reasons to sell a bull is the quality of calves he is producing. After 3 calf crops, we know if he is working well with our cows. I also get concerned about bulls getting to big when they get over 7 yrs. old. Avoiding inbreeding is a factor also.
